A Denver Therapist Accepting Major Insurance Plans

I accept several major insurance plans, so you can use your coverage instead of paying out of pocket. Working with an in-network therapist like me costs you a lot less than private pay.

Don’t Let Finances Get In The Way of Healing

By accepting major insurance plans, offering a cashpay and sliding scale options, it is my intention to remove the barrier of cost for anyone invested in personal growth and healing. Review the options below for insurances I accept, and fill out the form for next steps.

I am currently in-network with:

Through my insurance credentialing service, I’m currently in-network with:
  • Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program)

  • Aetna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

  • UnitedHealthcare

If you carry one of these plans, I bill your insurer directly on your behalf.

Why Being In-Network Isn’t Just a Formality

Any therapist can call themselves affordable. Being in-network is what actually backs that up. It means an insurance company has independently verified my license and clinical background before agreeing to cover sessions with me, so you’re not just taking my word for it.

Here’s What You Can Expect When You Use Insurance

I have a dedicated billing partner who will work hard to provide a seamless billing process from start to finish

Some important points you must know:

  • Expect the same billing process across different healthcare providers

  • I verify your specific benefits before we begin, so you know your costs upfront.

  • Your responsibility is limited to your plan’s copay, coinsurance, or remaining deductible.

  • If I’m not in-network with your insurance plan, I can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Note: I cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse any or all of your requested amount from the super bill.

What You Can Expect

We do our best to work directly with your insurance so you know exactly where you stand before you ever book a session.

You Know Your Costs Before Sessions

No guesswork on what a session will actually cost you once your benefits are applied.

Your Claims Get Filed Without You Chasing Them

I submit your insurance claims directly to your insurer.

Every credentialed plan means an insurance company has independently confirmed my license and standing.

Meet Your Therapist

Hi, I’m Kim. I accept several major insurance plans because I don’t think cost should decide who gets access to good therapy.

If you’re not sure whether your specific plan qualifies, that’s an easy thing to sort out on our free consultation call, before you commit to anything.

Questions Clients Ask About Insurance & Fees

Clear answers to common questions about accepting insurance in Denver and what you can expect from it.

Do you accept my specific insurance plan?

I am credentialed with Health First Colorado, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage can still vary by employer and plan tier, so it’s worth calling the number on your card to confirm your exact benefits.

What if you don’t accept my insurance?

I can still see you. I’ll provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement, though payment is due at the time of your session.

Note: I cannot guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse any or all of your requested amount from the super bill.

Does using insurance impact the quality of care I get?

Absolutely not! I deliver the same, high-quality service regardless of the billing.

How long does it take to know if my insurance will cover sessions?

Usually just a call. I verify benefits before your first session so you’re not caught off guard by a bill later.

What if I don’t have insurance at all?

You can also pay out-of-pocket and I hold a limited number of sliding-scale spots for clients facing financial hardship. Reach out and we can discuss what’s currently available.
