I am Kim, And I Work With People Who Carry More Than They Let On.
I am a licensed therapist in Colorado specializing in work with high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed beneath the surface. My approach is steady, relational, and focused on meaningful change.
A Little About My Journey
My path into therapy was shaped by decades of caregiving, raising children, and quietly carrying responsibility until it felt too heavy. A personal life crisis, and my own therapy, led me here.
Today, I help high-functioning adults who appear steady on the outside but feel exhausted and disconnected within. I use tools like EMDR, somatic therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), not just to understand your patterns, but to help you feel different in your body and daily life. My work is integrative, direct, and focused on honest, meaningful progress.
My Therapy Goes Beyond the Surface
You may already understand your anxiety and patterns and still feel stuck. That’s because many responses live in the nervous system, not just the mind. In our work together, we address both, so change isn’t forced or performative, it feels steady and real.
Professionals Manage Stress More Effectively
They begin responding with steadiness instead of urgency in daily life.
Driven Adults Feel Naturally Calmer
They notice a sense of ease because their body is no longer reacting to stress the same way.
Individuals Reclaim Energy and Vitality
They feel more alive and present as trauma treatment reduces numbness, hypervigilance, and tension.
I Am A Good Fit If You:
-
Are successful and responsible, but internally overwhelmed
-
Want practical, structured therapy that leads to real change
-
Are open to exploring how a hard past may still shape your present
-
Are willing to engage actively in the process rather than staying surface-level
Questions Clients Often Ask Me
How Much Does Therapy Cost?
Individual sessions range from $132 to $165. This is a private-pay practice. Sliding scale pricing is available for those who qualify. I can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA/FSA cards are accepted.
How Long Does Therapy Take?
It depends on your goals and the patterns we’re working through. Some clients begin noticing shifts within a few sessions. Others choose longer-term work to create deeper change. We check in regularly to make sure the work feels meaningful and aligned.
Do I Have To Talk About Everything Right Away?
No. Therapy is paced intentionally. We start by building steadiness and clarity. You don’t have to share more than you’re ready to. Safety and grounding come first.
What If I’m Not Sure Therapy Will Help?
That hesitation makes sense. Many of my clients have tried to “figure it out” on their own for years. Our first few sessions are about understanding what’s actually happening beneath the surface and seeing whether this approach feels like a good fit for you.
I Look Like I Have It Together, Is Therapy Still For Me?
Absolutely. Many of the adults I work with are capable, responsible, and high-achieving. Therapy isn’t about falling apart, it’s about no longer carrying everything alone and creating a steadier way forward.
